The Buckeye boys cross country team finished just three points shy of a conference title, taking runner-up honors at the CWC Championships. Dimitry Pshonyak (4th), Brady Salazar (5th), and Joe Stahl (8th) all earned All-Conference honors in a tightly contested race that saw Lakewood edge Buckeye 61–64.

The Bucks turned that close loss into motivation at the OHSAA District Meet, storming to a 4th-place finish and qualifying as a team for Regionals for the first time since 2015. Pshonyak led the way in 9th, followed by Salazar (16th), Stahl (17th), Nolan Rieth (42nd), and Gavin Waibel (79th).

The team will compete at Regionals this Saturday in Boardman — good luck to the Bucks as they chase the first state berth in program history!
