AVON LAKE, Ohio – The Bucks women’s bowling team stayed perfect on the season with a dominant road victory over Brookside on Monday, posting a 1,994–745 win at Nautical Lanes on Miller Road.
Buckeye’s varsity lineup set the tone in traditional games, building an insurmountable lead behind a pair of near-400 series. The Bucks combined strong individual efforts with steady depth scoring, then closed out the match with two solid Baker games to secure the runaway result.
Aubrey Reuter led all bowlers with a 398 series, rolling games of 200 and 198 to anchor the Bucks’ lineup. Right behind her was Addison Fry, who turned in a 384 series on games of 191 and 193, giving Buckeye a formidable one-two punch at the top of the order. Their consistency frame to frame helped the Bucks separate early and maintain control throughout the match.
Riley Onyx added a matching pair of 168s for a 336 series, providing a third strong score in the varsity set. Additional contributions came from Laryssa Hartshorn, who rolled a 124 game, Leah Kaczmarski with a 151 and Sophie Osborne with a 128. SAW chipped in a 131, rounding out a lineup that kept the Bucks’ total climbing even beyond the top series.
In Baker play, Buckeye continued its steady performance with games of 182 and 140, closing the match without letting Brookside gain any ground. The Bucks’ ability to convert spares and avoid big opens in the Baker format preserved the large advantage created during traditional play and underscored their depth and cohesion as a group.
With the 1,994–745 decision, the Bucks women’s team remains undefeated and carries significant momentum into the heart of the schedule. Behind high-series leaders like Reuter and Fry and consistent scoring down the lineup, Buckeye has established itself as a difficult opponent both at home and on the road as the season continues.
