Junior Gavin Waibel has emerged as a steady force for Buckeye cross country. After making an impact as a sophomore newcomer, Gavin has stepped up this season as a consistent scorer, setting a personal record of 17:37 at the Buckeye Invitational. He’s also a leader in the classroom, maintaining an excellent GPA while staying active in extracurriculars and representing Buckeye with pride.

“Gavin is exactly the type of athlete that we want our underclassmen looking up to,” said Coach Harden. “We can’t wait to see what he throws down in the postseason.”
