The Buckeye girls cross country team placed 5th at the CWC Championship, finishing just six points behind Lakewood for fourth. Hayleigh Kreeger and Sophia Regiec earned conference honorable mention honors, finishing 21st and 22nd overall.

At the OHSAA District Meet at Lorain County Community College, the Bucks exceeded their No. 17 ranking to place 14th overall and advance four runners to Regionals — Hayleigh Kreeger, Sophia Regiec, Lily Regiec, and Shelby Skilskyj. Kate Shearer also scored for the Bucks, just outside the individual qualifying range.
